It’s a perfect time of year for skiing/riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, ice skating etc. Maybe you’re tuning your boards or updating your ski gear. Whatever you’re doing, this promises to be great winter in Tahoe.

Fall is here! Days are warm and nights cool. Come enjoy Lake Tahoe in the fall. All the crowds are gone, yet the weather is fanatic. It feels like the mountains again. Hiking, biking or Kayaking are great ways to see the lake. October is also a great time to work on your home before the winter comes. Here are some fall projects I recommend.

Fall is here. Days are warm and nights cool. September and October are great times to come to enjoy Lake Tahoe. Hiking and Stand UP Paddle boarding or Kayaking are great ways to see the lake. Fall is always busy with Real Estate. Many sellers are ready to either get their homes off the market, or ski lease them for the winter or SELL!  September and October are when the skiers really start to focus on getting their Tahoe Property before the years end. If you are interested in getting a property for the best price, it’s a great time to make offers on the properties that are still on the market. September and October are the bargain months for buying a home at Tahoe.

Summer is in full swing. July is our busy month for summer vacation. Real Estate has been active, but the push really comes late in August and through the fall, When the skiers really start to focus on getting their Tahoe Property before the years end.  It’s a great time to come shopping for properties.  Many of you recently have come to Tahoe, and are discouraged thinking that the market has already passed you by. This is not true. Not to worry the market isn’t sky rocketing. In fact the median sales prices are still 2.5% lower than they were last year, making purchases at the Lake Tahoe a true bargain!!! Number of Sales are up 10% over this same period last year. The majority of these sales have been Single Family Homes. The inventory is slowing picking up with current inventory at it’s highest level for all of this year.  Many clients ask…How do I get the best property at the best price? The best analogy I can use is..
