Tahoe Dog Friendly

It’s almost summer and time to enjoy paddling or Kayaking with my dog Korry on Lake Tahoe.  She loves to Stand up paddle with me. I guess she’s not the only Qeensland Heeler out on the water.

My Favorite Paddle with Korry on my Lunch break is from Tahoe City either West to Sunnyside Restaurant.

or Tahoe City along the Tahoe’s Northshore towards Dollar Point. I’ll get some more photos and video in the summer.

Easy Walk for Dogs and Kids on Tahoe’s West Shore.

Eagle Lake Walk near Emerald Bay

Martis Valley Dog & Kid Walk

Martis Valley near the Truckee airport is a quick drive from Northstar. This year round recreation area in the Tahoe Sierra National forest is great to enjoy. The road is often plowed and can be a great place to run, bike or walk your dog. Parking is just outside the gate, so now worries about road traffic except in the summer months. Cars usually slow way down. This is a great place to meet other people who love dogs and have homes or second homes at Tahoe.

Finally Tahoe City has a Dog Park.
