  • Will you be using the property during  holidays?
  • Will you allow pets?
  • What is the minimum number of nights you will allow the property to be rented?
  • Do you want to price your vacation rental property at the bottom of the price range so it is rented often, or do you want to rent it fewer nights and only during the busier holidays?
  • Will you be renting this property directly or will you use a rental company?
  • What is the split, if any, that the rental company will take?
  • How much snow will the property get over the winter and how will you take care of it?
  • Do you want to do a ski lease for the entire season?
  • If it snows on a Friday and the roads are closed and guests can not get here to ski, you will need to refund their money for that night.
  • How many other properties are you competing with to get renters?
  • What are the current cost of season passes?
